We are pleased to share the progress of construction on Bahati Hotel – a luxurious five-star property rising on the beachfront in the stunning village of Matemwe, Zanzibar.
We are excited to share an update on the progress of the prestigious Bahati Hotel ***** project, a five-star luxury resort taking shape along the pristine coastline of Matemwe, Zanzibar. Situated directly on the beachfront, this exceptional property is designed to blend modern elegance with the natural beauty of its surroundings, offering future guests an unparalleled hospitality experience.
The project officially broke ground on May 28, 2025. In the weeks that followed, significant milestones have been reached. By July 10, the construction team successfully completed the hotel’s foundations and erected the structural columns that form the essential framework of the building. These critical elements ensure the stability and durability of the structure, creating a solid base for all subsequent works.
On July 20, the next phase began with ground compaction in preparation for the installation of the ground floor slab. This important step paves the way for upcoming concrete works that will establish the hotel’s main floor level.
At present, reinforcement for the ground floor slab is underway. This work is proceeding according to schedule, overseen by a dedicated team of engineers and construction specialists to ensure precision and quality at every stage.
